Anchors midfield in defeat
Al Rawabdeh recorded one shot (zero on goal) in Monday's 2-1 defeat to Algeria.
Analysis: Al Rawabdeh was Jordan's most industrious defensive presence in Monday's 1-2 defeat to Algeria, winning four of his five tackles and making one block across 90 minutes as the deeper of the two central midfielders, completing 20 passes and covering enormous ground to consistently disrupt Algeria's passing lanes through the center. His tackling intensity, positional discipline and relentless work rate make him the defensive foundation of Jordan's compact system, and his performances across both group games established him as one of the most effective defensive midfielders among the tournament's smaller nations in the opening round.
Assists in loss
Noor Al Rawabdeh assisted once to go with zero corners and two chances created in Wednesday's 3-1 loss against Austria.
Analysis: Al Rawabdeh provided a strong long ball to Ali Olwan, who scored Jordan's only goal with a shot placed to the right side of the goal. In midfield, he had limited defensive impact in an area where Jordan struggled and conceded three goals, but his tendencies have also shown his attacking upside. Playing the full 90 minutes and being part of a Jordan attack that showed promise, Al Rawabdeh has a foundation to build on from this performance. His next match will be a difficult task against Algeria, who are expected to be the stronger side despite losing 3-0 to defending champion Argentina in their opener.
